  • Long Flathead screwdriver (20 inches or longer)
  • Monkey wrench
  • Allen wrench

Identifying Your Gas Cylinder:

  • Top Activated Cylinder: Requires seat removal for replacement.
  • Side Activated Cylinder: Can be replaced without removing the seat.

Removing the Seat:

  • Preparation: Ensure the seat is fully pushed back.
  • Unlocking the Seat: Flip the chair over and use the long Flathead screwdriver to press the button under the seat, disengaging the lock that holds the seat in place.
  • Removing the Seat: Slide the seat out from the frame.

Replacing the Top Activated Cylinder:

  • Disconnecting the Cylinder: Use a monkey wrench to detach the cylinder from the chair's mechanism.
